Maggie
O’Brien is the "Duchess of the Inn"
(the Managing Innkeeper). She was formerly the Innkeeper at two
of Boston’s favorite Inns; the Samuel Sewell Inn and the Bertram
Inn. We are indeed fortunate that she moved to Onset and now brings
to us her expertise in operating an Inn as well as her warm and gracious
style. She will make you feel like Royalty! She also prepares delicious
breakfast buffets each morning. Just ask her for the recipes of any
of your favorites – and we think there will be many!
As you can see, Maggie absolutely loves her dog Freya.
We are happy to report that Freya has finally come to terms with the
fact that the inn is not pet friendly and her ego has remained intact.

Scott
Withiam is the ‘Earl of Café’
(the Café Manager) and an Assistant Innkeeper. Not only
does he mix a fine drink, he is also a college teacher and an award-winning
poet. You can check out his poems (which have been described as ‘flinty,’
strangely beautiful, electric and soulful, among others) in his books
on sale at the Inn. He might even be doing a poetry reading from time
to time. |

Billy
Stout is the ‘Lord of the Grounds’.
He keeps the grass a deep green, the hedges trimmed, the flowers blooming
and in general keeps our grounds looking spiffy –
in all kinds of ways. |

Leigh
McCullough is the happy owner –
and decorator - of this playful establishment which she thoroughly
enjoys as a break from her academic life of research and teaching
at Harvard. She will entertain all questions from those on brain imaging
to how to ‘deconstruct’ a window treatment. |
